Beebe Police Department Receive Two-Part Training

Beebe Police Officers received a two-part training on "Stop the Bleed" and Narcan on Monday, August 27th.

"Stop the Bleed" training focused on methods to control severe bleeding in trauma situations. Narcan (naloxone HCI) is an FDA approved emergency treatment for known or suspected opioid overdose. The training focused on signs of opioid overdose and the proper administration of Narcan.

Upon completion of the training, Beebe Police Officers were issued a supply of Narcan to keep in their patrol vehicles for emergency situations. Partial funding for the purchase of Narcan was made possible through a Walmart Community Grant.
